At Tender Beginnings, my goal is to provide loving, professional, and dependable support that helps make the early postpartum period feel a little more manageable. Every family has different needs, so I offer several options that can be customized based on your family, your baby, and the type of support you’re looking for.

All newborn care is provided with the same level of attentiveness, safety, compassion, and care I would give my own baby.

Overnight care is designed to give parents the opportunity to rest, recover, and recharge while your baby is cared for in a safe, loving, and attentive environment.

Professional Overnight Newborn Care

Four-night minimum commitment

Sometimes all a family needs is the reassurance of knowing their little one is in experienced, attentive hands. The Essentials package provides professional, baby-focused overnight newborn care designed to give parents the opportunity to rest while their baby receives compassionate, individualized attention.

Every night is personally provided by Kendra, RN, offering consistency, experience, and peace of mind throughout your newborn care journey.

• Safe sleep practices.

The Essentials package is focused exclusively on your baby's care, providing professional newborn support without additional household or concierge services.

More than overnight newborn care. The Luxe Experience is our most comprehensive level of support, thoughtfully designed to care for your baby, support your postpartum recovery, and take some of the everyday responsibilities off your shoulders.

We believe parents deserve to feel cared for, too. From a refreshed nursery and prepared feeding station to personalized newborn guidance and thoughtful postpartum touches, every detail is designed to make your transition into parenthood a little gentler.

Every support night is personally provided by Kendra, RN, ensuring familiar, consistent, and individualized care throughout your experience.

The Luxe Experience is designed for families who want more than someone to care for their baby overnight. It's about waking up feeling rested, supported, and knowing the little details have been taken care of, too.

☀️ Tender Day ☀️

Tender Day provides specialized daytime newborn support and parental assistance during the early postpartum period.

Daytime support can be helpful when you need an extra set of hands with your newborn, want time to rest or shower, need help with baby-related tasks, or simply want someone experienced and trustworthy beside you during the day.

Tender Day is available in 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, depending on availability and your family's needs.

Tender Day daytime newborn support is offered subject to availability and is based on current scheduling capacity. Overnight care clients receive priority booking for daytime services and future availability.

Tender Day is designed to provide specialized newborn support and parental assistance during the early postpartum period. It is not intended to replace regular childcare, daycare, or a nanny, and it is not a full-time childcare service.

Availability may vary based on existing client commitments, overnight bookings, and scheduling needs. Booking requests are not confirmed until availability has been reviewed and services have been formally scheduled.

🤍 The Gentle Recovery 🤍

The Gentle Recovery is designed for families who need additional support during a particularly challenging season—such as when a parent is recovering from birth, experiencing illness, or when baby or family circumstances require additional hands at home.

This service focuses on compassionate newborn care and practical parental support so you can prioritize rest, recovery, and your family's well-being.

The Gentle Recovery is available in 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, subject to availability and individual circumstances.

Important Newborn Care Disclaimer

Please note: Tender Beginnings Newborn Care provides non-medical newborn care and parental support. This service does not replace evaluation or treatment by your baby's pediatrician or other healthcare provider. Families should seek medical care for concerning symptoms or changes in their baby's condition. Care will only be provided when the baby's condition is appropriate for in-home newborn-care support.

📅 Scheduling 📅

Tender Beginnings provides weekday services Sunday at 7:00 PM through Friday at 3:00 PM. Services provided within this timeframe are considered weekday bookings.

Weekend bookings may be accepted at the provider's discretion based on availability and scheduling needs. Weekend bookings are subject to an additional $10 per hour.

Because Tender Beginnings is a small, personalized service operated by one provider, availability can be limited. Advance booking is encouraged, particularly for families interested in recurring overnight support.

🌙 Awake Care Option 🌙

Overnight care is generally intended to allow the provider to rest near the baby when baby is sleeping, while remaining attentive and available to baby throughout the shift.

If you prefer for the provider to remain awake for the entire overnight shift, an additional $10 per hour will apply (The Gentle Recovery already includes awake care).

This option can be discussed during your consultation so we can determine what will work best for your family and baby's needs.
