Overnight packages are quoted at 10 hours per night, but they can be customized based on your schedule, needs, and the level of support your family is looking for. We offer one-night care, 3-, 6-, 12-, 18-, and 24-night packages, with flexible scheduling options.

While Tender Beginnings specializes in newborn care, your need for support doesn’t end when the newborn stage does. I provide personalized care for babies from birth through 6 months of age.

Those first six months bring so many changes, and every family’s needs are different. Whether you’re bringing home a brand-new baby, navigating changing sleep patterns, or simply looking for an extra set of experienced hands, my goal is to provide reliable, personalized support tailored to your family.

• One thing that sets us apart is our 10-hour overnight care model. While many newborn-care services are structured around 8-hour shifts, Tender Beginnings packages are quoted at 10 hours, giving parents additional time to rest, recover, and recharge. And because every family is different, hours and packages can be customized to fit your needs.

  You’re also getting the experience of a current Registered Nurse who works directly with newborns and families in the hospital setting. My nursing experience includes:

  • 🤍 Labor & Delivery — supporting families through birth and caring for newborns during those first precious hours

  • 🌿 Postpartum care — supporting mothers and babies during the transition home

  • 🍼 Pediatrics — caring for infants and children and recognizing when something may need additional attention

  • 👶 Newborn care experience — hands-on experience caring for babies at different stages and in different settings

  Most importantly, Tender Beginnings combines that professional experience with a personal, nurturing approach. I understand that bringing home a newborn can be beautiful, overwhelming, exhausting, and sometimes all of those things at once.

From our first conversation, our goal is to make you feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.

We’ll take the time to learn your baby’s routines, your preferences, and what would make your nights easier. Before care begins, we’ll go over your baby’s information, feeding preferences, sleep routines, and anything else that will help us provide consistent, personalized care.

When you’re ready for the night, you can rest knowing your baby is receiving attentive, nurturing care while you get the uninterrupted rest you deserve.

We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially if you are expecting and have specific dates in mind. We understand that babies don't always arrive according to schedule, and we will do our best to accommodate changes when availability allows.

Getting started is simple! Reach out through our website, email, or phone to schedule a complimentary consultation. We’ll talk about your family, your baby’s needs, the type of support you’re looking for, and the dates that would work best for you. From there, we’ll create a care plan that fits your family and reserve your dates.

A 50% deposit is required to reserve and hold your requested dates, along with a signed service agreement. Your remaining balance is due according to the payment terms outlined in your agreement.

Our overnight newborn care packages are quoted based on 10-hour overnight shifts. We offer single-night care as well as 3-, 6-, 12-, 18-, and 24-night packages.

While packages are quoted at 10 hours per night, your care can be customized to fit your family’s needs. Whether you need a different number of hours, a specific schedule, or a combination of overnight and daytime support, we’re happy to discuss a personalized arrangement.

Parents provide the baby's normal supplies, including diapers, wipes, bottles/formula or expressed breast milk, clothing, sleepwear, and any preferred comfort items.

Before your first visit, we'll discuss your baby's routine, feeding preferences, sleep preferences, and anything else you'd like us to know.

No. Newborns are unpredictable! We can provide consistent care, soothing, feeding support, and help establish healthy routines, but we cannot guarantee a specific amount of sleep for your baby or for you.

This depends on the service arrangement and circumstances. During scheduled care, the provider can care for your newborn while you rest or attend to other responsibilities. Parents should remain reasonably accessible by phone and provide emergency contact information.

We understand that plans can change, especially with a new baby.

Cancellations made more than 14 days before your first scheduled service are eligible for a refund, less 20% of the original deposit.

Cancellations made 14 days or less before your scheduled service result in forfeiture of the 50% deposit due to the short notice and loss of the opportunity to rebook those dates.
