Overnight packages are quoted at 10 hours per night, but they can be customized based on your schedule, needs, and the level of support your family is looking for. We offer one-night care, 3-, 6-, 12-, 18-, and 24-night packages, with flexible scheduling options.

While Tender Beginnings specializes in newborn care, your need for support doesn’t end when the newborn stage does. I provide personalized care for babies from birth through 6 months of age.

Those first six months bring so many changes, and every family’s needs are different. Whether you’re bringing home a brand-new baby, navigating changing sleep patterns, or simply looking for an extra set of experienced hands, my goal is to provide reliable, personalized support tailored to your family.

• One thing that sets us apart is our 10-hour overnight care model. While many newborn-care services are structured around 8-hour shifts, Tender Beginnings packages are quoted at 10 hours, giving parents additional time to rest, recover, and recharge. And because every family is different, hours and packages can be customized to fit your needs.

  You’re also getting the experience of a current Registered Nurse who works directly with newborns and families in the hospital setting. My nursing experience includes:

From our first conversation, our goal is to make you feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.

We’ll take the time to learn your baby’s routines, your preferences, and what would make your nights easier. Before care begins, we’ll go over your baby’s information, feeding preferences, sleep routines, and anything else that will help us provide consistent, personalized care.

When you’re ready for the night, you can rest knowing your baby is receiving attentive, nurturing care while you get the uninterrupted rest you deserve.

We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially if you are expecting and have specific dates in mind. We understand that babies don't always arrive according to schedule, and we will do our best to accommodate changes when availability allows.

Getting started is simple! Reach out through our website, email, or phone to schedule a complimentary consultation. We’ll talk about your family, your baby’s needs, the type of support you’re looking for, and the dates that would work best for you. From there, we’ll create a care plan that fits your family and reserve your dates.

A 50% deposit is required to reserve and hold your requested dates, along with a signed service agreement. Your remaining balance is due according to the payment terms outlined in your agreement.

Our overnight newborn care packages are quoted based on 10-hour overnight shifts. We offer single-night care as well as 3-, 6-, 12-, 18-, and 24-night packages.

While packages are quoted at 10 hours per night, your care can be customized to fit your family’s needs. Whether you need a different number of hours, a specific schedule, or a combination of overnight and daytime support, we’re happy to discuss a personalized arrangement.

Parents provide the baby's normal supplies, including diapers, wipes, bottles/formula or expressed breast milk, clothing, sleepwear, and any preferred comfort items.

Before your first visit, we'll discuss your baby's routine, feeding preferences, sleep preferences, and anything else you'd like us to know.

That's exactly why I build flexibility into prenatal bookings! By reserving the two weeks before and two weeks after your estimated due date, I can better accommodate early arrivals and unexpected changes in delivery timing. We will communicate throughout the process and adjust your support schedule accordingly.

No. Newborns are unpredictable! We can provide consistent care, soothing, feeding support, and help establish healthy routines, but we cannot guarantee a specific amount of sleep for your baby or for you.

I encourage families to book during pregnancy to secure their spot on my calendar. When you book prenatally, I block off two weeks before your estimated due date and two weeks after your due date to accommodate the possibility of an early or unexpected delivery.

This four-week booking window allows me to reserve availability specifically for your family, so if your little one decides to arrive earlier than expected, your newborn care support is already accounted for. Once your baby arrives, we will coordinate your actual start date and schedule based on your delivery and family's needs.

My goal is to make sure you have peace of mind knowing that support is secured before your baby even arrives!

This depends on the service arrangement and circumstances. During scheduled care, the provider can care for your newborn while you rest or attend to other responsibilities. Parents should remain reasonably accessible by phone and provide emergency contact information.

We understand that plans can change, especially with a new baby.

Cancellations made more than 14 days before your first scheduled service are eligible for a refund, less 20% of the original deposit.

Cancellations made 14 days or less before your scheduled service result in forfeiture of the 50% deposit due to the short notice and loss of the opportunity to rebook those dates.

In many cases, yes. I provide a detailed receipt with dates of service, services provided, and amounts paid, which you can submit to your HSA or FSA for reimbursement. Some plans require a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor, and eligibility is always determined by your plan, so I recommend checking with your plan administrator.

Yes! BeHerVillage is a registry where, instead of registering only for gifts and baby items, you can register for support. Loved ones can contribute funds toward your overnight newborn care with Tender Beginnings, and those gifted funds are applied directly to the package you choose. It is a beautiful option for families who would love support but are mindful of cost — your village gets to give you the gift of rest. Possibly, yes. Maven works differently: if your employer's Maven plan includes Maven Wallet with postpartum or doula care as an eligible expense, you pay for your care directly and then submit my detailed invoice for reimbursement through your Maven Wallet. I provide itemized receipts with dates, services, and amounts for every family, and I am happy to supply any additional documentation your plan requires. Because eligibility depends on your employer's plan, I recommend confirming with Maven that overnight postpartum newborn care is an eligible expense before booking.

Carrot acceptance is currently in process, but not yet accepted at this time. I am actively working through Carrot's provider approval process, and I will update this page as soon as I am approved. If you have Carrot benefits through your employer, there is something that can help: Carrot members can request me by name in their Carrot account, and member requests help move my approval forward.
